This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our \n<strong>Fort Worth, Beaumont, or Houston,TX</strong> office. \n<strong>GFT Geotechnical Dams & Hydraulics Team</strong>\n<p>Joining the dams and hydraulics team at GFT means contributing to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure. Explore some of our signature water resources and environmental projects here.  </p> \n<strong>What you’ll be challenged to do:</strong>This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated \n<strong>Hydraulics Engineer (H&H Engineer)</strong> who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The Hydraulic Project Engineer will perform engineering calculations, technical studies and prepares plans and specifications for a wide variety of projects, including impact analysis, roadway drainage and master drainage plans. Provides general oversight, control, and management of H&H analysis and design tasks for a project. Perform client and project management duties. Prepares technical reports and letters. \n<strong>In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:</strong>\n<strong> </strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the development of drainage impact studies, master plans and engineering reports (including CLOMRS & LOMRS)</li>\n <li>Lead the development of project design concepts, criteria, construction plans and reviews project documents for conformity and quality assurance</li>\n <li>Work with client and other disciplines to prepare appropriate designs, as dictated by the scope of work</li>\n <li>Analyze complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures</li>\n <li>Consults with construction personnel concerning design constructability</li>\n <li>Provide input for proposals and pursuit of new projects</li>\n <li>Supervision of junior level staff</li>\n <li>Makes recommendations on project staffing</li>\n <li>Communicates independently with clients</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2></h2>\n<strong>What you will bring to our firm: </strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (P.E.) license </li>\n <li>4 to 10 Years of relevant experience involving H&H Projects</li>\n <li>Experience with Project proposals and Presentations </li>\n</ul>\n<strong>What we prefer you bring: </strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Expertise with ArcGIS, HEC-RAS (1D/2D), HEC-HMS, XP SWMM (1D/2D), AutoCAD/MicroStation (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Compensation:</strong>The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $135,000.
