We're a dynamic group of accounting professionals who continue to strive for professional excellence and career growth while maintaining a culture of work-life balance. Our team is excited to continue to be a pivotal contributor to projects geared toward automation and accounting for new entities.<br /><p><b>About the Role</b></p><br /><p>We are seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager that will be responsible for helping manage the deal review process and financial close procedures for the Revenue Accounting Team. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator with an entrepreneurial mindset who is also excited and energetic about joining a transformative team.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Manage the day-to-day accounting activities and mentor junior team members of the revenue recognition team.</p></li><li><p>Review revenue agreements in connection with deal review process to ensure compliance with ASC 606 and Workday revenue policy.</p></li><li><p>Manage deal review communications between revenue team and Sales, Sales Operations and Legal during contract negotiations and provide guidance and assistance to ensure proper revenue recognition.</p></li><li><p>Provide as-needed technical accounting guidance to business partners and team members as part of deal review process.</p></li><li><p>Effectively manage workflow to provide timely feedback and input while keeping management aware of key issues.</p></li><li><p>Partner with order-to-cash cross functional teams (Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Sales Ops, Finance, and/or AR) to ensure all fully executed agreements are properly booked and recognized in our systems to ensure accuracy in quarterly metrics.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with broader team on completing month-end close activities and accurate reporting of key revenue data.</p></li><li><p>Support the Revenue Accounting team with other special projects, as needed.</p></li></ul><br /><p><b>About You</b></p><br /><p><b>Required Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>8&#43; years related experience in Revenue / Accounting.</p></li><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>Experience with SaaS/Technology industry.</p></li><li><p>4&#43; years in People Leadership / Managerial role.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Other Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance.</p></li><li><p>CPA with Big 4 experience preferred.</p></li><li><p>A highly productive self-starter with very strong work ethic .</p></li><li><p>Strong accountability and detail oriented; prepares accurate and timely work product.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and thrive, and be a team player.</p></li><li><p>Strong interpersonal, communication and messaging skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment.</p></li><li><p>Capable of moving between a variety of roles with ease with working with cross functional teams.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of global quote-to-cash business processes and best practices.</p></li><li><p>Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce, Apttus, and experience using Workday.</p></li></ul><br /><p><b>Workday Pay Transparency Statement (For EU Locations Only)</b></p><br /><p>Listed below is the base salary range applicable to this position. Workday pay ranges (and the precise pay offered to the successful candidate) are based on a number of objective criteria such as relevant experience and skills, and educational qualifications, level of responsibility, demands of the role, work location and business need. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants awarded by Workday Inc.
