    "description": "<p>ASSISTANT COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT – KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI</p>\n<p>Onsite Construction Group focuses on the development of its employees, career growth, and leadership opportunities. We have a growing portfolio and are excited to bring on a Assistant Commercial Construction Superintendent with at least 3+ years of experience in Federal and/or Private Construction Projects, in the Kansas City market. Onsite offers an extremely competitive salary with benefits and is an equal opportunity employer.</p>\n<p>Assistant Construction Superintendent will be responsible for the following:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and monitor a safe work environment, practices and culture on the project.</li>\n<li>Coordinate work on assigned projects to be completed on or ahead of contract schedule</li>\n<li>Help Oversee trade-partners and construction project daily</li>\n<li>Ability to create and maintain detailed construction schedules. Phoenix Construction Schedule or MS Project experience a plus.</li>\n<li>Establish and maintain an effective and professional onsite working relationship with Owners, Architects, Consulting Engineers and other parties related to the project.</li>\n<li>Plan and maintain job-site logistics &amp; security</li>\n<li>Manage quality assurance program and third-party consultants to comply with project specifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Construction Superintendent must have the following:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years of experience in the construction industry as a Federal and/or private industry construction superintendent.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of project sequencing and trade partner activities</li>\n<li>Strong mathematical and computer aptitude is also necessary.</li>\n<li>Army Corps of Engineers Quality Control Certification/Training is a plus</li>\n<li>Must be capable of being on their feet for long periods of time</li>\n<li>A technically savvy individual who has fantastic communication skills</li>\n<li>Having a good reputation and relationships in the surrounding Kansas City area is a plus!</li>\n<li>Honest, Reliable, and Represent the Company with the highest of Character.</li>\n<li>Verifiable experience with solid references.</li>\n<li>Able to pass pre-employment background check and 9 panel drug screen.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Recommended Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Quality Control experience.</li>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in the construction-related field is preferred</li>\n<li>Proven commitment to safety and building relationships with project stakeholders</li>\n<li>OSHA 10/30 required</li>\n<li>Knowledge of construction software programs (i.e. Procore, MS Project, Phoenix, Blue Beam etc.)</li>\n<li>Experience in estimating and RS Means software, not required, but a plus.</li>\n<li>Experience in Lean building methods</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This Job Is:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Work Remotely</p>\n<ul>\n<li>No</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Job Type: Full-time</p>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k)</li>\n<li>401(k) matching</li>\n<li>Dental insurance</li>\n<li>Health insurance</li>\n<li>Paid time off</li>\n<li>Vision insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Schedule:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 hour shift</li>\n<li>Monday to Friday</li>\n<li>Nights or Weekends May Be Required</li>\n<li>Travel May Be Required</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Federal / Health Care Projects: 2 years (Preferred)</li>\n<li>Commercial Construction Experience as a Carpenter / Carpenter Forman or other Field Experience: 3 years (Required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ONSITE WILL NOT CONSIDER APPLICANTS FROM RECRUITERS</span></p>",
