This role ensures that the church facilities are consistently clean, sanitized, and presentable for worship services, events, and ministry activities. This role requires flexibility, with some weekend and evening hours, and calls for an individual who is skilled, dependable, and service-minded. </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 800\">Job Duties</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Clean and restock restrooms to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the building.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Clean glass, windows, and doors for a polished appearance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate needs for restocking.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Follow safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist with light maintenance tasks as assigned by the Facilities Director</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Report any damages, repairs, or safety concerns promptly.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support the overall mission of the church by maintaining a welcoming and clean facility for the congregation and staff.<br></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 800\">Education and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed.<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 800\">Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 800\"><br></span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: 800\"><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong personal faith and alignment with the core values and mission of Northside (C3 Faithfulness as outlined below).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to discern needs and respond proactively and sensitively in a fast-paced environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing time effectively to complete tasks independently or as part of a team, maintaining high-quality standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A commitment to serving the church and a passion for supporting its ministry efforts.<br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">C3 Faithfulness</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">We do this by remaining personally connected - to Christ, community, and calling.
