If you want work you can take pride in, a supportive team, and a company that respects the people on the floor, you may find your home at Flagstone Foods.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>POSITION:&nbsp;</strong>Sanitation Tech I (2nd shift)</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>REPORTS TO:&nbsp;</strong>Sanitation Supervisor&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Position Summary:&nbsp;</strong>The Sanitation Technician I is responsible for supporting the Company&rsquo;s sanitation food safety program by focusing on proper cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment and building in a manner that meets and complies with all food safety policies, FDA, and OSHA regulations.<strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Perform basic wash area duties including running a pan washer, cleaning utensils by hand when needed, etc.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Perform basic machine disassembly/setup for cleaning (e.g., covers, piping, cover electrical with plastic).&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Complete cleaning tasks per Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Recognize and address equipment needing deep cleaning.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Properly use chemicals to perform cleaning tasks effectively and safely.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Perform basic janitorial duties (e.g., emptying garbage, sweeping, stocking supplies).&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Report employee safety, food safety, and quality concerns to appropriate personnel.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Comply with all employee safety/food safety requirements, training, policies, and procedures.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; 1-year minimum working with production equipment or 1 year working in a food plant as a sanitor cleaning equipment/machine.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;&bull; Basic knowledge of pre-rinse/wash/rinse/sanitize steps.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Basic knowledge of top-down washing sequence for proper food safety.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Basic knowledge of sanitation chemical usage.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Basic knowledge of lockout/tagout programs.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Ability to learn how to clean all plant lines.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Ability to prioritize work.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team to complete assigned tasks.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&bull; Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Physical Requirements :</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">The physical demands described within the Essential Functions section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform this job.
