If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering solutions on projects of various sizes</li>\n <li>Perform engineering work in process design and/or rehabilitation of water and wastewater treatment facilities</li>\n <li>Develop plans and specifications</li>\n <li>Prepare cost estimates for various water, wastewater, and reuse projects</li>\n <li>Supervise or coordinate the work of a few staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments</li>\n <li>Perform permitting and alternative analysis</li>\n <li>Prepare technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables</li>\n <li>Complete data entry and analysis</li>\n <li>Provide engineering services during construction</li>\n <li>Participate in field activities such as pilot testing</li>\n <li>Participate in in professional associations, including attendance and participation in local, regional, and national conferences and/or chapter events</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, chemical or other similar engineering field</li>\n <li>Minimum academic requirements including coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design</li>\n <li>6 to 12 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering</li>\n <li>Registration as a Professional Engineer</li>\n <li>Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Works well in a team environment</li>\n <li>Highly motivated and self-starter</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Word and Excel</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineering</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation Range</h2>\n<p>An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.</p>\n<h2>Other Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p>Carollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
