This position will work on all phases of <strong>Transportation Projects</strong> for a variety of public sector clients. Transportation projects will include horizontal and vertical road alignments, drainage systems, storm water management, utility relocations and preparation of contract documents. This position may also engage Dewberry’s California market which is the Western Region’s hub for transportation. Both vary based on level within the program and bonuses are dependent upon company performance.</em></p>\n<p><em>In addition, a host of discounted purchase programs are available to all employees.</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>The position requires 5+ years of leadership experience in the planning and design of state and local transportation infrastructure, including but not limited to roadway design, intersections, interchanges, utilities, drainage, stormwater management, and coordination with other disciplines as necessary. The successful candidate must be flexible, technologically savvy, and client focused. The work required by the successful candidate is diverse and requires familiarity with state and local design standards, Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD, MicroStation/InRoads, and Microsoft Office Suite as well as experience with client and project management processes.</p>\n<h2>Required Skills & Required Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS degree in Civil Engineering</li>\n <li>Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to obtain within one year of date of hire.</li>\n <li>5+ years of experience in transportation engineering</li>\n <li>Experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation InRoads</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a timely fashion to meet project budgets</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, and review staff</li>\n <li>Ability to compose technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication</li>\n <li>Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects</li>\n <li>The successful candidate must be flexible, technologically savvy, and client focused. The work required by the successful candidate is diverse and requires strong capabilities in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite, ProjectWise, PMWeb, and eConstruction Tools</li>\n <li>Knowledge of CDOT Design Manuals and Specifications; Ability to work across CDOT Regions</li>\n <li>Demonstrated CDOT experience preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Don’t meet every single requirement?
