If you are interested in learning more about Valiant and this opportunity, we invite you to apply now!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong>Onsite Springfield, VA.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearance Required:  </strong>Active Top Secret </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Degree and Years of Experience Required:  </strong>BA/BS Degree (Additional experience may be considered instead of a degree)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Typically, between Four (4) and Ten (10) years of related technical experience in Network and Transport technologies, tools, and techniques</li>\n <li>DoD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II compliant.</li>\n <li>DoD Architecture Framework and other key DoD network architecture and strategic planning instructions.</li>\n <li>Juniper, switches, routers, firewalls (MX, EX, SRX devices), and Cryptographic devices (KG-175G/X, KG-245A/X.)</li>\n <li>Network analysis tools (HP/Microfocus Network Automation and Network Node Manager, Juniper Secure Analytics, Infoblox, Riverbed.)</li>\n <li>Juniper firewall/VPN equipment (SRX series.)</li>\n <li>Supporting IP services to connect to NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS (IPv4, VPN, IPv6, Multicast, QOS, SDN, SNMP, VOIP, VTC, etc.)</li>\n <li>OSPF, BGP, MPLS, RSVP/LDP L2/3VPNs, VRFs, IKE/IPSec, GRE tunnels, MTU, FTP, Import/Export policies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, CISCO CCNP, CCVP, CCNA or CCDP (or equivalent)</p></li>\n <li><p>ITIL v3 Foundations</p></li>\n <li><p>ISC2 CISSP</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Coordinates system maintenance, monitors and installs multiple WAN/LAN environments encompassing multiple specializations, platforms and technologies. </p></li>\n <li><p>Assists with research and implementation of enterprise system-wide network solutions/capabilities/enhancements to support customer business/mission goals and objectives.</p></li>\n <li><p>Troubleshoots and resolves network media and components.</p></li>\n <li><p>Evaluates and monitors health and performance of the network including hardware and management software.</p></li>\n <li><p>Develops and maintains a road map for capabilities, operations, and technologies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Assists with development and execution of test plans and supports documentation of all network configuration upgrades, additions or revisions for customer approval before implementation.</p></li>\n <li><p>Supports network traffic analysis and bandwidth optimization efforts to ensure attainment of performance and availability objectives.</p></li>\n <li><p>Evaluates and reports on new/emerging network/communication technologies to enhance capacity, performance and reliability of the network.</p></li>\n <li><p>Evaluates and recommends changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization and industry best practices.</p></li>\n <li><p>Follows all Customer network security processes and procedures, ensures compliance with all Government policies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Represents customer requirements in technical exchanges with other government agencies.</p></li>\n <li><p>Performs site surveys to new installations and technology refresh.</p></li>\n <li><p>Installs, maintains and troubleshoots satellite communications equipment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Develops and maintains network architecture diagrams.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Valiant Solutions</strong></p>\n<p>Valiant Solutions is a security-focused IT solutions provider with public clients nationwide.
