    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Responsible for completing psychosocial assessments, leading one on one and group therapy within a behavioral health space in accordance with evidence-based practices. Assesses patient needs based upon a face-to-face or telehealth clinical interview, case history review and information obtained from collateral sources such as family members, the referent or other parties. Recognizes signs/symptoms associated with risk of harm to self and/or others and implements appropriate interventions as necessary. Develops and implements an appropriate treatment plan of care for the patient based upon relevant clinical information and diagnosis. Consults with family members or professionals from other agencies/organizations as necessary in developing optimal treatment services. (i.e., ages, diagnostic presentations, comorbidities, etc. in accordance with one’s scope of licensure and abilities)</p>\n<p>May perform Employee Assistance Programing as indicted by the site of care</p>\n<p>Utilize evidenced based practices in treatment</p>\n<p>Follow all ethical and regulatory guidelines</p>\n<p>Seek consultation from your Clinical Supervisor when needed</p>\n<p>Provides culturally and linguistically appropriate services</p>\n<p>May complete court commitment reports</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Documentation and Administrative Functions:</strong></p>\n<p>Maintain licensure</p>\n<p>Maintain eligibility to bill for government payers (i.e., not on the Medicaid/Medicare exclusion list.)</p>\n<p>Document services accurately and timely patient progress with treatment plan goals</p>\n<p>Achieve site of care productivity standards.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Collaboration and Coordination:</strong></p>\n<p>Active participation with clinical supervisor on supervision plan</p>\n<p>Participate in individual and group supervision from one’s clinical supervisor</p>\n<p>Participate in all required trainings and educational activities</p>\n<p>Participate in department level meetings and huddles</p>\n<p>Be responsive to patients in applicable communication mode</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<p>Master Degree Required in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy with a clinical/mental health concentration from an accredited school. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<p>Applicants should have completed practicum experiences as part of their accredited program. One year of experience working with a site’s clientele in addition to practicum is preferred. This may be completed at the bachelor level.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s):</strong></p>\n<p>Iowa: LMSW, tLMFT, tLMHC</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Illinois: LPC or the LMSW (temporary licensure is not a requirement if applicant meets QMHP criteria)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Wisconsin: CAPSW, LPC-IT, MFT-IT</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>May be required to obtain BLS within six months of hire for certain sites.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other:</strong></p>\n<p>Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.</p>",
