Hired candidates will be considered for Benefits/Paid Time Off after 3-months. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>#SIC</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI On-Site</strong></p>\n<p><strong>#LI-VB1</strong></p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct the activities of assigned Concrete Masons, helpers, and apprentices.</li>\n <li>Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.</li>\n <li>Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.</li>\n <li>Establish and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.</li>\n <li>Direct sub grade work, mixing of concrete, and setting of forms.</li>\n <li>Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.</li>\n <li>Analyze and resolve work problems.</li>\n <li>Maintain time records.</li>\n <li>Follow set procedures and standards.</li>\n <li>Calculate amounts of concrete required for each job.</li>\n <li>Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.</li>\n <li>Perform frequent safety inspections of work area, equipment, tools, and employees in accordance with SIC policy to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and SIC’s safety program.</li>\n <li>Appropriate journeyman experience required.</li>\n <li>Regular attendance is required.</li>\n <li>Significant travel required.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Skilled in both written and verbal communication.</li>\n <li>Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.</li>\n <li>Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to effectively use all required PPE equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.</li>\n <li>Conditions include working in office, shop, busy traffic areas, warehouses, and undeveloped properties, with frequent exposure to dirt, dust, grease, oil, vibrations, and adverse weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Must be able to safely access all areas of property, buildings, structures, wharves, rooftops and other elevated positions, as well as, confined spaces.</li>\n <li>Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position.</li>\n <li>Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools.</li>\n <li>Must be capable of standing for long periods of time, bending consistently, working in confined spaces with limited access, on ladders, in personnel lifts, in workboats, and working in awkward body positions.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
