Description

The GME Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the ACGME-accredited residency/fellowship training program. Key responsibilities include: Managing the daily operations of the GME residency/fellowship program. Assisting the Program Director in developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training program. Ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation requirements. Coordinating educational activities that support the program’s curriculum and adhere to ACGME requirements. Designing, delivering, and reporting timely completion of resident/fellow, faculty, and program evaluations. Coordinating accreditation activities including ACGME Site Visits, Self-Studies, Internal Reviews, annual program reviews, etc. Ensuring GME and departmental policies and procedures are communicated/available to the GME Program Director, faculty, residents/fellows, and staff. 2 The GME Coordinator plays a critical role in the success of the program and is expected to possess skills in leadership and personnel management. They are also required to develop in-depth knowledge of the ACGME and Program Requirements, including policies and procedures.
