font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">A “Grow Your Own” opportunity is available for nurses who have an interest in a career within the Operating Room, but do not possess the qualifications.  Financial support will be available to the successful candidate with a return of service agreement.  **Preference through this opportunity will be given first to candidates who possess the PACU certification.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">POSITION OVERVIEW:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">This regular part-time position will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care within the OR, Endoscopy Suite, Day Surgery, and Recovery Room as established by the standards of nursing practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario and according to policies and procedures as set out by GMCH. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Current certificate of Competence for College of Nurses</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Post Graduate Course in Perioperative Nursing required or for “Grow Your Own”, commitment to successfully complete this program and all placement hours within twelve (12) months of hire date.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Current BCLS</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Current certificate in ACLS &amp; PALS or willingness to obtain <span style=\"color: rgb(186, 55, 42)\">within 3 months of hire</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Post Anesthetic Care Nursing certificate/course or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Prepared to work in all areas of Surgical Suite (Operating Room Scrub and Circulating, Endoscopy, Day Surgery, Post Anesthetic Care Unit) on a rotating basis</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
