          "text": "<p>We seek a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic IT team as a \"Database Administrator” This position requires technical leadership as a DBA and is responsible for establishing the direction for maintenance, standards, lifecycle management, design, and implementation approaches for the company’s database-related infrastructure. Creates, evaluates, and implements plans and design proposals for high-impact IT solutions and their use involving leading-edge technologies and methods, considering key factors such as their long-term effectiveness (service delivery and cost), practicality, technical limitations, criticality, and coordinates with Headquarters. Leads or contributes to designs applied to all aspects of database-related infrastructure prototypes and eventual implementation. Performs work of high complexity and derives logical processes based on technical platforms. Engages in performance/integration testing, problem analysis, business, and technical analysis.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><p><strong>Technical Leadership (75%)</strong></p><ul><li>Performs database administration activities.</li><li>Performs daily based basic database tasks.</li><li>Performs security administration tasks.</li><li>Performs basic Unix/Linux administration tasks.</li><li>Installs, configures, upgrades, and troubleshoots Oracle, SQL Server, Maria and Tibero. databases in Unix/Linux/Windows platforms.</li><li>Diagnoses database performance bottlenecks and provides enhancements.</li><li>Writes SQL and Unix/Linux Shell scripts.</li><li>Creates and maintains operational document procedures.</li><li>Other Duties as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Project Management (25%)</strong></p><ul><li>Manage an extensive portfolio of projects, tasks, issues, and systems.</li><li>Manage projects from the initial requirement stage through the completion stage, ensuring appropriate documentation and completion.</li><li>Conduct/Lead formal project meetings with the team, other departments, and customers,</li></ul><p><br>\n<br>\n<strong>Scope Indicators:</strong><br>\nThe scope of indicators for the Sr. Database Administrator position encompasses a broad range of competencies, responsibilities, and benchmarks that are essential for the role.
