Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets in downtown Templeton, farm-to-fork dining, beautiful landscapes for hiking and biking, and beach days just fifteen minutes away at Cambria and Morro Bay.</p>\n<p>Job Summary:</p>\n<p>Performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife.</p>\n<p>Job Requirements:</p>\n<div>\n <p>Education and Work Experience:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Licenses/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution: Required</li>\n  <li>Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li>\n  <li>Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP: Preferred</li>\n  <li>Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Facility Specific License/Certifications:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required</li>\n  <li>Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Medical Assistant - NCCT (NCCT) or Certified Medical Assistant- NHA (CMA-NHA) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) or American Medical Tech Board MA (MA-AMT): Required</li>\n </ul>\n</div>\n<div>\n <p>Essential Functions:</p>\n <ul>\n  <li>Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
