    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>INVITE ONLY</p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Summary:</strong><br>&nbsp;The Underground Civil Inspector is responsible for observing and monitoring the installation of underground electric distribution systems and other utilities placed within a joint trench configuration. This role ensures compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable standards while supporting field operations and documenting project progress.</p><p><strong>Example of Duties:</strong><br>&nbsp;&bull; Observe the installation of underground electric distribution systems, cable TV, telephone, and other joint trench utilities<br>&nbsp;&bull; Monitor work practices to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines<br>&nbsp;&bull; Verify proper trench preparation, conduit placement, backfill, and installation methods<br>&nbsp;&bull; Document daily activities, field conditions, and noteworthy issues<br>&nbsp;&bull; Communicate with supervisors, contractors, and utility representatives regarding progress or concerns<br>&nbsp;&bull; Identify potential hazards or deviations and report findings as needed<br>&nbsp;&bull; Assist in reviewing site readiness, restoration, and overall work quality<br>&nbsp;&bull; Perform other related duties as assigned</p><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:</strong><br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to interpret basic construction drawings and specifications<br>&nbsp;&bull; Strong attention to detail and observational skills<br>&nbsp;&bull; Effective oral and written communication skills<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to recognize jobsite hazards and ensure safe work practices<br>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to work independently while interacting professionally with field personnel</p><p><strong>Experience/Education:</strong><br>&nbsp;&bull; Two or more years of experience in the trade<br>&nbsp;&bull; OR certification by a duly constituted Outside Line Construction Local Union of the IBEW</p><p><strong>Licenses/Certifications:</strong><br>&nbsp;&bull; Valid driver&rsquo;s license with ability to maintain insurability<br>&nbsp;&bull; Safety-related certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30) preferred</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
