Description Position Summary: The BCBA Supervisor is a key clinical team member responsible for designing, overseeing, and ensuring the integrity of individualized ABA treatment plans for clients with autism and related developmental disabilities. In collaboration with the treatment team, the BCBA Supervisor conducts assessments, develops comprehensive programs, and monitors client progress to promote meaningful outcomes. This role includes direct supervision of RBTs, ensuring the accurate and ethical implementation of treatment plans through ongoing training, support, and performance evaluation. The BCBA Supervisor provides hands-on coaching to team members, facilitates collaboration among caregivers and clinical staff, and empowers families by guiding them in the application of ABA strategies within daily routines. The ideal candidate is committed to clinical excellence, continuous professional development, and maintaining compliance with funder, organizational, and BACB standards. The BCBA Supervisor plays a critical role in fostering a positive team culture while delivering high-quality, compassionate care across settings. Due to the nature of services, BCBAs must be willing and able to travel throughout the region. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, Vineland-3, functional assessments) to inform individualized ABA treatment plans Develop behavior intervention plans and treatment goals in alignment with client needs, clinical standards, funding source requirements, and company policy Modify treatment plans based on client progress, assessment results, and family or team feedback Provide required field supervision to clients (typically 10–20% of authorized direct ABA hours) in accordance with BACB and funder guidelines Supervise, train, and mentor RBTs/BTs, including providing live session feedback, performance evaluations, and skill modeling as needed Job Description- BCBA Review and monitor session data, treatment integrity, and documentation to ensure clinical accuracy and service quality Conduct performance evaluations and skill competency assessments for RBTs in accordance with company policy Provide family training on ABA principles, behavior strategies, and generalization practices Facilitate team meetings and maintain effective, collaborative communication with caregivers, team members, and outside providers Meet all documentation and submission deadlines related to treatment plans, progress reports, and supervision records Achieve and maintain billable hour expectations and other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by the organization Ensure ethical practice in line with BACB guidelines and state regulations Adhere to all the organization’s policies and procedures, including those related to HIPAA compliance and client safety Demonstrate leadership competencies, including professionalism, accountability,  collaboration, and communication across all interactions Represent the organization with a positive, objective, and solution-focused attitude Qualifications Qualifications : Education & Certifications Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification issued by the BACB State licensure (e.g., LBA or LABA) Completion of the 8-hour BACB Supervisor Training and ongoing CEUs as required Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to client interaction) Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a BCBA preferred Prior experience developing treatment plans, supervising behavior technicians, and working with children with autism or related developmental disabilities Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of ABA principles, ethical standards, and clinical application Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and use of ABA data collection software (e.g., CentralReach, Catalyst, PassageHealth) Skilled in supervising and training RBTs, modeling effective intervention, and giving constructive feedback Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases, and maintain organization in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated leadership, accountability, and adaptability Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with families and clinical teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 tools Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, run, and engage in active play during sessions Capable of lifting children up to 35 lbs. and physically managing therapy-related demands Must maintain attention, alertness, and energy throughout sessions Adequate vision and hearing for clinical observations and safety awareness Other Requirements Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Completion of required onboarding, ongoing trainings, and timely certification renewals Access to a HIPAA-compliant, reliable mode of transportation Personal device (phone, tablet, or laptop) compatible with ABA software and Microsoft 365 Adherence to HIPAA and BACB professional and ethical standards
