We also provide a 401(k) savings plan, Employee Assistance Program, a tuition reimbursement program, professional development and advancement opportunities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Join our team, be part of the solution, support evolving innovations, and help us continue providing quality products, all while being supported by strong leadership and a comprehensive and competitive benefits program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The starting base rate for this position is $24.19/hour.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs all duties related to unloading barges. </li>\n <li>Performs general housekeeping related to the barge operation.</li>\n <li>Performs all work safely and efficiently.</li>\n <li>Performs all other assigned work, either verbally assigned or written orders</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution is required</li>\n <li>Light mechanical skills and basic math aptitude</li>\n <li>Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions</li>\n <li>Ability to write legibly and to complete reports related to unloading barges</li>\n <li>Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular and repeated basis</li>\n <li>Ability to climb ladders and/or steps up to 20 feet</li>\n <li>Ability to read and comprehend safety and operating instructions</li>\n <li>Ability to work in enclosed areas, such as barges, wing tanks, etc.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in extreme temperatures, ranging from -10 degrees to 130 degrees</li>\n <li>Ability to work in noisy areas (up to 90 decibels) and dusty conditions</li>\n <li>Ability to work around water at depths up to 100 feet</li>\n <li>Ability to bend, use shovel and broom</li>\n <li>Ability to work with paint using spray gun and paint brush</li>\n <li>Must be able to enter through small openings (barge manholes)</li>\n <li>Ability to coordinate product barge movement to minimize downtime</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Buzzi Unicem USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
