You need the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to develop a user-focused solution. We’re looking for a software engineer like you to develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production-ready system, in an exciting, agile environment. </p>\n<p>As a software engineer at EverWatch, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver complete end-to-end solutions to your clients. Using your software engineering expertise, you’ll analyze the environment to ensure that your team’s solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You’ll sharpen your skills as you master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements. </p>\n<p>Work with us as we develop systems to create change for the better. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>You Have:</strong>   </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with object-oriented programming language constructs</li>\n <li>Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred)</li>\n <li>Experience developing with interpreted languages, such as Python</li>\n <li>Experience with test-driven development (TDD) practices at a proficient level </li>\n <li>Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K8s, Helmcharts)</li>\n <li>TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience with software engineering, or 18+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Nice If You Have:   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with the Go programming language and concurrent/parallel processing patterns</li>\n <li>Experience with TypeScript and Angular framework for web application development</li>\n <li>Experience with stream processing systems (Kafka, Redis Streams, AMQP, Redpanda Connect/Benthos)</li>\n <li>Experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)</li>\n <li>Familiarity with cloud technologies and concepts (AWS preferred)</li>\n <li>Experience with agentic development workflows and AI-assisted coding tools</li>\n <li>Knowledge of the Atlassian suite of tools for project management (Jira, Confluence)</li>\n <li>Possession of excellent customer relation skills, including managing requirements for feature requests</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Clearance:</strong> </p>\n<p>Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.</p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p>Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $57.70 to $91.35 per hour.
