TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for directly supervising and managing RN/Assistant Nurse Managers in the inpatient units and on the behavioral emergency servicesteam. </li>\n <li>Oversees RN/Assistant Nurse Managers regarding staff training,staffing schedules, the hiring/termination process, patient flow, performance monitoring, and adherence with Behavioral Health Center (BHC) policies and procedures, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and State of Florida licensure standards. </li>\n <li>Monitors nursing-related program performance metrics. </li>\n <li>Acts as a delegate in the Dir/Inpatient Services’ absence. </li>\n <li>Oversees nursing students in the inpatient units. </li>\n <li>Represents the BHC at hospital-wide nursing meetings (as directed). </li>\n <li>Promotes a consistent and consolidated direction in providing nursing care in accordance withnursing practice philosophy and ethical guidelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Dir/Inpatient Services (job code 110101)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>RN/Assistant Nurse Manager (job code 030303), RN/Coordinator of Admissions (job code 034202), and RN/Behavioral Health (job code 031903)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate's Degree in Nursing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Strongly Preferred)<strong> </strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Two (2) years of job-related leadership experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Three (3) years progressively responsible administrative nursing experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure]</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
