    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><i><strong>Salary: $16.23 per hour</strong></i></p>\n<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p>\n<p>This entry-level seasonal position is designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience with basic service and maintenance tasks. The role supports the maintenance team in keeping facilities, grounds, and equipment clean, safe, and functional during peak seasonal operations.</p>\n<p><strong>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p><i><strong>Essential Functions (These Duties are Performed with Supervision)</strong></i></p>\n<p>The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with general light cleaning of facilities, equipment, and outdoor areas.</li>\n <li>Perform light landscaping duties such as raking, sweeping, watering, grass cutting, weed whacking/pulling.</li>\n <li>Assist with trash collection, litter pickup, and restroom cleaning.</li>\n <li>Visitor information services in interpreting park rules and regulations, and providing information about the Parks and the programs offered.</li>\n <li>Assist with maintenance needs for picnic groups, meetings, wedding groups, and assist at other special functions and park events, programs, and activities.</li>\n <li>Help set up and break down equipment for events or daily operations.</li>\n <li>Support basic repairs under supervision (e.g., tightening bolts, replacing light bulbs).</li>\n <li>Maintain tools and supplies in an organized condition.</li>\n <li>Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or issues to supervisors.</li>\n <li>Locking and unlocking the facilities.</li>\n <li>Assist with parking vehicles during large-scale park events.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Currently enrolled in high school.</li>\n <li>Minimum Age 16 years old.</li>\n <li>No prior work experience required.</li>\n <li>Must have parental/guardian consent if under 18.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid Work Permit issued by the School District.</li>\n <li>Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must enjoy working with the public in an outdoor setting.</li>\n <li>Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of safety practices.</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn and take direction.</li>\n <li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li>\n <li>Dependable and punctual.</li>\n <li>Physical presence in the facility is required.</li>\n <li>Must obtain PA Act 153 Clearances.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift to 25 lbs for extended periods</li>\n <li>Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions</li>\n <li>May require the use of gloves, safety goggles, or other protective gear</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>WORKING ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Outdoor and indoor settings such as parks, recreational facilities, or public buildings</li>\n <li>May involve exposure to sun, heat, rain, or light machinery noise</li>\n <li>Flexible scheduling, including weekends or holidays, depending on operational needs</li>\n</ul>\n<p><i>This position description serves as a guideline for communicating the essential functions and other information about the position to the applicant/employee.
