Ace Electric is growing bigger in business each year and has no signs of slowing down!</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Our Mission is to Identify, Hire, Train and Retain the very best people!   Could that be you?</em></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Accident and Critical Illness Insurances</li>\n<li>401k with Match</li>\n<li>Access to Ace University: Apprenticeship Program, Leadership Training, Skill Building Classes and much more!</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">General Summary:</span> </p>\n<p><span>The Superintendent will oversee the operations and field personnel responsible for the installation, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials/equipment for the assigned job.  The Superintendent will report to the Project Manager.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Job Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong commercial and industrial electrical background.</li>\n<li>Strong troubleshooting skills utilizing sophisticated test equipment (DMM, Megger, PQM, UCT, IR Camera, etc.).</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).</li>\n<li>Ability to safely operate and maintain a specialized electrical service vehicle.</li>\n<li>Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times.</li>\n<li>Able to demonstrate necessary computer and keyboard skills.</li>\n<li>OSHA 30 Hour, CPR, and First Aid trained.</li>\n<li>Ability to manage customer and company specific information and documentation in an organized manner.</li>\n<li>Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.</li>\n<li>Must be an effective and professional communicator, both written and verbally.</li>\n<li>Able to be on twenty-four hour call on a rotating basis, as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mandatory Hiring Requirements</span>:</p>\n<p><span>References, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Driver’s License.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Responsible for leading and directing all field personnel involved in the project to include orientation, time keeping, daily reports, safety reports, accident reports, and disciplinary reports.</span></li>\n<li><span>May function as the Site Safety Representative for the project.</span></li>\n<li><span>Responsible for the construction take off of the job using the bid estimate as a guideline, but will plan the job in the most efficient and profitable manner.</span></li>\n<li><span>Insure all materials are ordered and received in a timely manner to insure compliance with the job work schedule.</span></li>\n<li><span>Work closely with Fabrication to maximize the opportunity for savings regarding the installation of field materials to include the labor.</span></li>\n<li><span>Necessary to have and maintain certain personal tools as directed by Leadership. </span></li>\n<li><span>Will read and comply with all guidelines provided in the Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, or Policy and Procedure Manual, and will require any field employees under their leadership to do the same.</span></li>\n<li><span>All other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>License:</span><span> Valid state driver's license.  <br></span></li>\n<li><span>Certification: None required.</span></li>\n<li><span>Education: </span><span>High School Graduate/GED required. Journeyman Electrician/completion of Apprenticeship Program required. </span></li>\n<li><span>Experience: Minimum of 6-years electrical experience preferred in industrial or commercial construction.  Supervisory experience preferred.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, or snow.</span></li>\n<li><span>Job requires employee to have required personal tools with him at all times (waist tool belt as worn weighs approximately 30 lbs.).</span></li>\n<li><span>Work from all types of ladders and be able to transport/relocate ladders unassisted.</span></li>\n<li><span>Employee’s personal weight with tools cannot exceed the rated weight capacity of ladders used.</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform work at various heights, up to 90 feet from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, cat walks and other safe work areas.</span></li>\n<li><span>Work in restricted areas (switch gear-room, manholes, utility tunnels and crawl spaces).</span></li>\n<li><span>Wear personal protective equipment as required.</span></li>\n<li><span>Able to work 40 hours per week plus overtime as required, to include night shifts and out-of-town work if required.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Physical/Mental Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Positively identify colors of wire and other items as required.</span></li>\n<li><span>Comprehend reading of blueprints drawings, and schematics same.</span></li>\n<li><span>Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Handbook.</span></li>\n<li><span>Operate company truck with manual and automatic transmission.</span></li>\n<li><span>Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, work site directions, and written instructions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Must hear and see well (either natural or with correction).</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.</span></li>\n<li><span>Able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.</span></li>\n<li><span>Tolerant to prolonged standing and movement on foot.</span></li>\n<li><span>Climb ladders (all types).</span></li>\n<li><span>Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">AAP/EEO Statement:</span><br></p>\n<p><span>Ace Electric, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identification, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law.</span></p>",
