    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>** Sign on Bonus with 2 Year Commitment **</strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p><strong>Definition of Shared Governance: </strong>Shared governance is a professional structural model, founded on the cornerstone principles of partnership, equity, accountability, and ownership that form a culturally sensitive and empowering framework, enabling sustainable and accountability-based decisions to support an interdisciplinary design for excellent patient care.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Duties:</strong></p><p>(These statements are intended to describe the essential functions and related requirements of persons assigned to this job. &nbsp;They are not intended as an exhaustive list of all job duties, responsibilities and requirements.)</p><ol><li>Performs patient assessments in a Systematic and organized manner to provide high quality and safe outcomes.</li><li>Provides direction and collaborates with team members to support a healthy work environment.</li><li>Analyzes collected data to formulate a plan of care that contributes to high quality and safe outcomes.</li><li>Implements a plan of care with measurable criteria consistent with work class performance levels.</li><li>Evaluates the plan of care with the patient and family/support system to maintain world class levels of patient satisfaction and outcomes.</li><li>Contributes to a high performance work environment by seeking educational resources that enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills.</li><li>Apply for nursing council or committee and be vested on one council at least every 5 years.&nbsp; 80% attendance in person or by phone is required.&nbsp; Advancements in Clinical Ladder will be reflected in yearly application process and is expected for job performance standards.</li></ol><p><strong>Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:</strong></p><p>Must be able to complete the following Unit Specific Job Duties:</p><ol><li>Demonstrates recognition, interpretation, and recording of patients signs and symptoms. Demonstrates advanced knowledge in pathophysiology to anticipate medical and/or nursing interventions.</li><li>Demonstrates skill in the management of possible crises (trauma, dic, delivery, pacemakers, peritoneal lavge).</li><li>Assists respiratory therapy in the management of mechanical ventilation.</li><li>Maintains central lines, midlines, PICC's.</li><li>Communicates on IHERN radio.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of triaging patient utilizing five level triage method.</li><li>Demonstrates knowlege and competency to care for a moderate sedated patient.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of medical emergency drugs (titrating cardiac drugs).</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge and ability to administer thrombolytic therapy.</li><li>ACLS provider wtihin 6 months of hire.</li><li>PALS provider within 6 months of hire.</li><li>CPI Training within 6 months of hire.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge to take charge on Code Blue until physician arrives.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge and ability for outpatient procedures (blood patch, paracentesis, ocl splinting, etc.).</li><li>Demonstrates correct use of the Tracking Board.</li><li>Performs 12 lead EKG's in collaboration with Cardiology Department.</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of and assists with adult &amp; pediatric patients.</li><li>Assists with lab specimen collections in collaboration with Laboratory.</li></ol>",
