This role works closely with production, tooling, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot problems, reduce scrap, and maintain compliance with customer quality standards.</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Production &amp; Process Support</p><p>• Support daily stamping operations by troubleshooting tooling and process issues.</p><p>• Monitor process performance and material flow to ensure stable production.</p><p>• Work with set up personnel and press operators to optimize setups and improve running efficiency.</p><p>• Assist with laser programing, die tryouts, new tooling launches, and process validation.</p><p>• Identify opportunities to improve cycle time, material utilization, and set up time.</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Quality Engineering</p><p>• Investigate internal and customer quality concerns including dimensional issues and defects.</p><p>• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming parts.</p><p>• Implement containment and corrective actions to protect customer shipments.</p><p>• Track scrap trends and implement improvements to reduce defects.</p><p>• Support customer complaints, 8D reports, and corrective action documentation.</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Quality Systems &amp; Documentation</p><p>• Develop and maintain manufacturing and quality documentation including:</p><p>o Process Flow Diagrams</p><p>o PFMEA</p><p>o Control Plans</p><p>o Work Instructions</p><p>o Inspection standards</p><p>o Perform and/or coordinate Internal Audits in compliance with ISO9001:2015</p><p>• Monitor process capability using SPC and statistical analysis.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with ISO9001:2015 and customer quality requirements.</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Continuous Improvement</p><p>• Lead initiatives to reduce:</p><p>o Scrap</p><p>o Rework</p><p>o Downtime</p><p>o Process variation</p><p>• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as:</p><p>o 5S</p><p>o Kaizen events</p><p>o Waste reduction projects</p><p>• Analyze production and quality data to identify process improvements.</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p><p>• Work closely with:</p><p>o Production supervisors</p><p>o Tooling / die maintenance</p><p>o Quality inspectors</p><p>o Maintenance technicians</p><p>• Train operators and technicians on process controls and quality standards.</p><p>• Support PPAP submissions and new product launches.</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Preferred Skills</p><p>• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.</p><p>• Experience with SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP.</p><p>• Ability to read engineering drawings and working knowledge of GD&amp;T.</p><p>• Familiarity with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks).</p><p>• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.</p><p>• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.</p><p>________________________________________</p><p>Education &amp; Experience</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).</p><p>• Experience in metal stamping or aerospace manufacturing preferred.</p><p><br></p>",
