The succsessful candidate in this position will be an all-star in filling multiple site vacancies by providing recruitment support to the business, assisting primarily with union craft recruitment activities and responding to general human-resources related inquiries. Identify qualified candidates and make recommendations to hiring manager by screening resumes, interviewing, checking references and ranking candidates.  </li>\n <li>Ensure policies, guidelines and practices are followed and communicated to candidates and hiring managers as is appropriate. </li>\n <li>Explain job duties/responsibilities, compensation and benefit programs, work schedule or special conditions, career and advancement opportunities and related information.  </li>\n <li>Extend employment offers to successful candidates.   </li>\n <li>Set-up onboarding of new hires.</li>\n <li>Represent the company at talent management or human resources-related events.</li>\n <li>Other ad-hoc responsibilities which provide human resources support to the business.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What Makes You the ONE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>University Degree in human resources or College Diploma in human resources-related field preferred. </li>\n <li>One to two years’ experience related to recruitment and selection of similar positions.</li>\n <li>Experience with an Applicant Tracking System.</li>\n <li>Industry experience considered an asset.</li>\n <li>Thorough knowledge of recruitment and selection practices and theories. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, learning and motivation. </li>\n <li>Ability to interact with all levels of employees and managers. </li>\n <li>Service and results-oriented; proactive approach to recruiting and projects.</li>\n <li>Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office suite.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p>After you send us your resume, our Recruitment team will work with the hiring division to determine candidates we’d like to meet with.
