In addition, the Medical Assistant is responsible for phlebotomy and assisting with the application and removal of casts.  Shriners NCAL is looking for a PRN Medical Assistant to support the Care Management team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is per diem, non-exempt, and health insurance eligible. The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $39.36hour. Compensation is determined by experience and department equity. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collect and report data to assist the multidisciplinary team in the evaluation of patient needs</li>\n <li>Performs a variety of comprehensive registration and scheduling functions</li>\n <li>Demonstrate open, accurate and timely communication with patients, families and interdisciplinaryteam members to ensure effective therapeutic interventions</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical Assistant Certification</li>\n <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification </li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Preferred:</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>1+ years of Medical Assistant experience   <p> </p></li>\n</ul>",
