Leads projects from planning through execution while supporting manufacturability, quality, schedule, and customer requirements. Partners with cross-functional teams to review designs, improve processes, and maintain clear engineering documentation.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Primary Duties &amp; Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead projects from initiation through completion to support on-time, in-scope delivery.</li>\n <li>• Coordinate cross-functional activities, priorities, and resources to meet project and production objectives.</li>\n <li>• Review customer requirements, drawings, layouts, and specifications for manufacturability and technical alignment.</li>\n <li>• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes for ceramic substrates and related products.</li>\n <li>• Create and maintain mechanical drawings, process travelers, work instructions, and other controlled documentation.</li>\n <li>• Support tooling, fixtures, machine files, and process set-up needed for production and post-processing.</li>\n <li>• Track project milestones, identify risks, and communicate status, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.</li>\n <li>• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, quality, operations, and engineering teams to resolve technical and process issues.</li>\n <li>• Drive continuous improvement activities that improve quality, efficiency, traceability, and process consistency.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Education &amp; Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline required.</li>\n <li>• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.</li>\n <li>• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, design engineering, or project management in a technical manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>• Experience supporting ceramic substrate, circuit board, or comparable advanced manufacturing processes preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Skills</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of ceramic substrate and circuit board manufacturing methods, materials, and design considerations.</li>\n <li>• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, layouts, specifications, and customer requirements.</li>\n <li>• Experience with engineering documentation, process control, and traceability in a manufacturing environment.</li>\n <li>• Proficiency with common engineering and office software tools.</li>\n <li>• Strong project planning, organization, and follow-through skills.</li>\n <li>• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions.</li>\n <li>• Ability to analyze technical issues and implement practical process improvements.</li>\n <li>• Must be able to comply with applicable export control, confidentiality, and company policy requirements, including ITAR/EAR if required for the site or program</li>\n <li>Collaborate in a professional and respectful manner with coworkers, vendors, contractors, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>• Works in both office and manufacturing environments.</li>\n <li>• May require periodic support outside normal working hours to meet project or production needs.</li>\n <li>• Occasional travel may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing: up to 4 hours per day.</li>\n <li>• Sitting: up to 6 hours per day.</li>\n <li>• Lifting: up to 25 lbs. occasionally.</li>\n <li>• Pushing/Pulling: up to 25 lbs. occasionally.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Safety Requirements</u></strong></p>\n<p>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
