The Resale Store currently includes two locations (Little Rock and North Little Rock). The Resale Store provides multiple benefits to Our House including funding, donor relations and donations management, and job training opportunities for clients. Our House, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and founded in 1987. <a href=\"http://www.ourhouseshelter.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Our House</a> empowers homeless and near-homeless families and individuals to succeed in the workforce, in school, and in life through hard work, wise decision-making, and active participation in the community. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(24, 154, 214); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: 800\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You will help manage and maintain the Resale Store locations by overseeing logistics, donations, sales, managing trainees, assisting the Store Manager by implementing policies and procedures, and developing donor and and volunteer relations. Please note that while this position works closely with Our House, Inc., the employer is the Resale Store, a separate entity wholly owned by Our House, Inc.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(24, 154, 214); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: 800\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support the Store Manager in developing store procedures and donor relations and fill in when needed in their absence</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Open and close either or both resale store locations when needed, including operating the security alarm system</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist in creating schedules and organizing the day-to-day administrative needs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support the development and implementation of proactive loss prevention and asset protection strategies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage, oversee, train, and cooperate with employees, job trainees, and volunteers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain high morale and coaching standards with all trainees and volunteers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide support or assistance to customers and donors, including complaints or inquiries</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Accept donations in-store and assist with donation pick ups as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Operate cash registers, credit card machines, and point of sale system when needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Sort and price merchandise in a timely manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure proper documentation of sales, expenses, and donations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage, organize, and clean store spaces to enable proper presentation of merchandise and enactment of promotional and seasonal activity</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assist in organizing and leading onboarding for large volunteer groups and individual staff members</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide support in hiring employees and recruitment efforts for volunteers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct other duties as assigned to fulfill Our House’s mission</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(24, 154, 214); font-size: 12pt; font-weight: 800\">What You’ll Bring</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive communication with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Attention to detail, excellent organization and time management skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Basic computer skills.
