We are looking for a dedicated <b>Team Leader, <span>Electric Utility Distribution Operations</span></b> to join our team in Dayton (North Dayton SC), OH. If you are passionate about teamwork, maintaining the highest standards, and prioritizing safety, we invite you to be part of our mission to deliver safe and reliable energy.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><b>Lead Daily Operations:</b> Supervise the implementation of daily operating plans, maintain current electrical system status, and implement actions to compensate for system disturbances.</li><li><b>Customer Service Excellence:</b> Provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally, ensuring satisfaction and reliability.</li><li><b>Technical Supervision:</b> Oversee company and contractor technical personnel involved in real-time actions related to power system reliability.</li><li><b>Construction and Maintenance:</b> <span>Assist/Coordinate with managing construction projects</span>, maintenance tasks, and emergency response efforts to ensure seamless operations.</li><li><b>Innovative Practices:</b> Develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments to improve job efficiencies and reduce operating costs by researching and implementing “Best Practices” and new technologies.</li><li><b>Shift Work: </b><span>Be prepared to work 1sr shift as required to support continuous operations. It will require working some weekends</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Basic Requirements</b></p><ul><li><b>Educational Background:</b> Post-secondary, vocational, or technical training in a relevant field.</li><li><b>Industry Knowledge:</b> In-depth understanding of industry practices related to safe electric utility distribution system operations and the electric service restoration process.</li><li><b>Interpersonal Skills:</b> Ability to work effectively with people and build strong working relationships.</li><li><b>Problem Solving:</b> Strong problem-solving and resource management skills to handle complex situations.</li><li><b>Technical Proficiency:</b> Intermediate computer skills to manage operational tasks efficiently.</li><li><b>Experience:</b> Previous line experience preferred but not required.
