In this pivotal role, you’ll help modernize transmission infrastructure, support renewable energy integration, and deliver solutions that promote a sustainable energy future.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position offers fully <strong>remote</strong> capabilities; however, occasional <strong>on-site</strong> responsibilities may be required if you are located near a CHA office.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the technical execution of complex engineering designs, technical reports, and specifications for electric transmission infrastructure, including overhead lines, underground transmission, and grid-hardening upgrades</li>\n <li>Provide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues in various areas of electric transmission engineering</li>\n <li>Lead advanced technical projects, collaborating with other engineering departments and project management staff to deliver sustainable solutions that enhance grid resiliency and energy efficiency</li>\n <li>Develop and manage discipline work plans aligned with project milestones, ensuring projects are completed within budget and scheduling restraints</li>\n <li>Guide and mentor junior engineering staff, including providing technical reviews and support</li>\n <li>Deliver technical development of proposals and external presentations to clients, public, and regulatory agencies</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering required</li>\n <li>Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience required</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) license required</li>\n <li>Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices across various areas </li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a technical leader within the Electric Transmission discipline, leading challenging projects that advance grid modernization and energy transition priorities</li>\n <li>Make a measurable impact while mentoring the next generation of engineering talent</li>\n <li>Enjoy a flexible work environment with opportunities for local and occasional travel</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our Electric Transmission team is doing?
