This role is responsible for guiding a team of professionals, managing complex projects, and driving client relationships to achieve revenue and growth objectives.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Team Leader serves as a senior-level leader who combines technical expertise with strong management skills—ensuring project quality, profitability, and team development.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and manage a team of 5+ staff members, providing direction and mentorship.</li>\n <li>Oversee and manage more than $1M in annual project revenue.</li>\n <li>Build and maintain client relationships, securing approximately $750K in annual revenue.</li>\n <li>Manage and lead a business unit, including staffing, resource allocation, and performance oversight.</li>\n <li>Perform final QA/QC reviews on complex civil engineering projects.</li>\n <li>Manage multi-discipline projects from concept through completion.</li>\n <li>Assist Group Leader with annual revenue forecasts and strategic planning.</li>\n <li>Participate in hiring interviews and staff development initiatives.</li>\n <li>Proactively communicate and coordinate internally and externally to ensure project success.</li>\n <li>Mentor Project Managers and delegate tasks effectively to ensure team efficiency.</li>\n <li>Support Group Leader with staff development and succession planning.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.</li>\n <li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering and project management.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to lead teams and manage large-scale projects.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of civil/site design principles and multi-discipline coordination.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
