Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?</span></p><p></p><p><b>ROLE SUMMARY: </b> <br />As the Manager, Finance Tax, you will lead a team responsible for excise tax across Anheuser-Busch’s Macro, Craft, and Wholesaler business units. This role is accountable for driving the execution of key business priorities while ensuring full compliance with federal and state excise tax regulations.</p><p>You will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and technical expertise to the excise tax function—partnering cross-functionally to support business initiatives, enhance processes, and ensure accurate and timely reporting in a dynamic, highly regulated environment.</p><p></p><p><b>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</b> </p><ul><li>Responsible for the preparation and filing of excise tax returns, the management of excise tax audits, and government inquiries</li><li>Responsible for monthly financial close, journal entries, accrual calculations, and related documentation</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, standards, and regulations (Excise Tax – Federal and State guidelines, SOX, IFRS, etc.)</li><li>Act as the escalation point for internal and external customers, including business unit management, to resolve issues</li><li>Proven experience analyzing complex issues, documenting, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.</li><li>Ability to drive the excise tax structure with integration of new business initiatives and demands without an existing process</li><li>Project management for multiple inflows/process improvement efforts</li><li>Lead and drive process improvement and change management initiatives</li></ul><p></p><p><b>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</b> </p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, CPA and/or MBA preferred</li><li>3&#43; years tax accounting experience</li><li>2&#43; years leading less complex business projects</li><li>Current and extensive working knowledge of excise tax – Federal and State guidelines as well as the ability to stay up to date on changing regulations and reporting requirements (preferred but not required)</li><li>Understanding of the different TTB regulations around beer, cider, wine, and distilled spirits (preferred but not required)</li><li>Management experience with proven organizational and leadership skills (not required)</li><li>Demonstrate ability to prioritize work, delegate responsibilities, and manage processes</li><li>Ability to influence others to meet business objectives and drive process improvements</li><li>Manage outsourced work scope, including the ability to review and/or provide support for tasks completed by offshore resources</li><li>Experience with MS Office Suite, including advanced proficiency with Excel</li><li>Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems</li></ul><p> <br /><b>WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH:</b>  <br /><span>At Anheuser-Busch, our purpose is to create a future with more cheers.
