Competitive salaries and benefits packages are available as well as the opportunity to enhance learning and development for future growth.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p>We are seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">building services design engineer, </span>a key member of the engineering design department, responsible for the development and delivery of detailed design and construction information for the HVAC and building services systems.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Be Doing</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Development of detailed design information for elements of the mechanical/HVAC systems for particular projects.    </li>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring that the mechanical/HVAC design is developed in line with relevant Client and industry standards and guidelines. </li>\n<li>To provide technical support during the tendering process.</li>\n<li>Developing relationships with customers, end user clients and supply chain</li>\n<li>Market research relating to products/materials to be specified as part of the mechanical/HVAC systems being designed.  </li>\n<li>Ability to complete technical assessments on products and materials from various vendors to determine the optimum design solution for a particular project.  </li>\n<li>Ensuring co-ordination of all design information with site construction teams</li>\n<li>Knowledge generation of all relevant products including statutory and regulatory developments.</li>\n<li>Attending tender launch and adjudication meetings as required.</li>\n<li>Implementing technical innovation and value creation</li>\n<li>Development of design solutions specific to Ardmac’s modular and off-site manufacturing offerings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc. in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering</li>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years’ experience of designing mechanical/HVAC services installations in high tech industrial sectors such as cleanroom, data centres and medtech.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ability and knowledge of:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Statutory and Regulatory Procedures</li>\n<li>Building Services best practice</li>\n<li>Detailed knowledge of Technical Systems and Procedures</li>\n<li>Knowledge &amp; experience of developing design for projects in Cleanroom facilities. </li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience of modular/ off-site design solutions</li>\n<li>Understanding of best practice for design of mechanical/HVAC systems for Cleanroom facilities.</li>\n<li>BIM using revit MEP</li>\n<li>Experience in the use of relevant MEP design software packages.</li>\n<li>Standard forms of contract, inc Design and Build</li>\n<li>Estimating, procurement &amp; payment terms</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Candidates must already possess authorization to work in Ireland without the need for a work permit application.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Join Us</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work at the forefront of high-specification construction and technical environments and contribute to projects that support critical industries such as pharmaceutical manufacturing and global data infrastructure</li>\n<li>Be part of a collaborative, delivery-focused organisation with a strong reputation for quality</li>\n<li>Competitive salary and benefits package</li>\n<li>Work – life balance with hybrid working available in most roles</li>\n<li>Training and Development Opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ready to Apply?</span></p>\n<p>If you have the experience detailed above in building services design, we’d welcome your application.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Apply now to be part of a team delivering excellence in cleanrooms, life sciences, and data centre environments.</p>\n<p> </p>",
