Description Join Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) as a Special Education Program Supervisor About the Role: Assist in overseeing and promoting a Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions program—specifically special education classrooms work. Provides supervision to the professionals and instructional assistants and Registered Behavior Technicians that will result in the achievement of the educational, social, and emotional, as well as the transition and employment goals of the students, and the professional development of the staff. Includes creating, developing, directing, maintaining, and evaluating the range of direct and support services provided to students in grades kindergarten through 12th grade. The position requires knowledge of PDE, IDEA, and chapter 14 regulations, as well as competency in IEPs, positive behavior support strategies, classroom management, and MTSS/PBISI. The position requires successful relationships with the education-based agencies at the state and local level, supervisees and consultees in the programs, and colleagues in the education services division.
