This position requires both technical expertise and strong organizational skills.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is an in-office position with travel. Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and possess a clean driving record.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and manage service tickets, including scheduling, resource allocation, and customer communication</li>\n<li>Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrically controlled hydraulic machinery</li>\n<li>Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of systems including:\n<ul>\n<li>Variable frequency drives</li>\n<li>Motor protection panels</li>\n<li>Electrical control systems</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with the Calibration Department</li>\n<li>Assist calibration technicians with testing and troubleshooting activities</li>\n<li>Support production team as needed</li>\n<li>Manage service contracts and direct support services</li>\n<li>Assist with training initiatives</li>\n<li>Perform additional duties as business needs require</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engineering degree or equivalent Electrical Engineering experience preferred</li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years related experience as a Service Engineer or similar role</li>\n<li>PLC programming experience is a plus</li>\n<li>Strong familiarity with hydraulic and electrical control systems</li>\n<li>Experience with panel testing and validation</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings</li>\n<li>Strong mechanical aptitude</li>\n<li>Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance</li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities</li>\n<li>Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision</li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>15 days Paid Time Off</li>\n<li>Additional one-week paid Christmas break</li>\n<li>Paid holidays</li>\n<li>100% company-paid medical, vision, and dental insurance for employees</li>\n<li>Optional Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance</li>\n<li>SIMPLE IRA with company match</li>\n<li>Gym membership discount</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Chant Engineering is proud to support innovation, craftsmanship, and technical excellence.
