Our technology gives robots perception and awareness, enabling them to take on more advanced tasks. We aim to revolutionize the use of robotics within industry to free human resources from labor-intensive tasks to focus on more intellectual challenges.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Product Development Intern, you will assist with several upcoming Proof of Concept (POC) studies related to vision-based systems and PLC benchmarking. This role will be critical in helping us validate and demonstrate the performance of our next-generation hardware and software solutions.</p>\n<p>                                                                                                                                       </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Description: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benchmarking Hardware and PLC Systems</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Compare our new hardware against competitor PLC systems.</li>\n<li>Define test protocols and scenarios, execute tests, document results, and summarize conclusions.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Vision-Based POC</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Support benchmarking of vision systems, including performance analysis and neural network evaluation.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Software and Controls Benchmarking</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze competitor PLC software and control systems for benchmarking purposes.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Size and Cost Constraints Study</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with Georgia Tech or similar institutions to conduct studies on size and cost optimization.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant education disciplines to include Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Industrial Engineering</li>\n<li>Undergraduate Junior level or above</li>\n<li>3.0 or higher GPA</li>\n<li>Computer Skills required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desired Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Background in PLC systems and industrial automation.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with vision systems and basic neural network concepts.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical and documentation skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands/ Work Environment:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel Requirement: Less than 5%</li>\n<li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer</li>\n<li>Willingness to work in a warehouse setting</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><em>This Position Description is intended to describe the essential job functions, the general supplemental functions and the essential requirements for the performance of this job.
