Description
The Per Diem X-Ray Technician performs basic and advanced procedures in accordance with established protocols. Evaluates images for technical quality. Must exercise independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in the technical performance of imaging procedures and recognize patient conditions requiring immediate action.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Duties include: (but not limited to) perform radiologic examinations on patients referred by physicians in accordance with radiologic protocols. Must be competent routine diagnostic, operating room, and portables. Must be able to evaluate radiographs for technical acceptability. Must be comfortable working in an Emergency Department setting. Other duties as assigned; complete Patient Satisfaction is our Primary Goal
Qualifications
Requirements:
Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology NY State License and registration certificate in Radiologic Technology ARRT certification in diagnostic radiology, good standing in ASRT BLS certification 1 years minimum experience, including OR procedures and portables Proficiency in Fluoroscopic / portable radiology / OR procedures Knowledge of McKesson PACs and image cast Radiology Information systems (RIS) Experience in digital & computed radiography

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $50.00 - $50.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
