Description

Help Bring Immersive Environments to Life At Solid Light, we design and fabricate immersive environments for museums, cultural institutions, and brands. We are looking for an Architectural Technician who can bridge creative vision and technical execution—someone who enjoys solving spatial challenges, developing architectural documentation, and collaborating across design, integration, and fabrication teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment and wants to help bring experiential spaces to life through thoughtful coordination and technical precision. What You’ll Do Develop architectural documentation for exhibit and environmental integration Coordinate with Creative, Fabrication, and Integration teams throughout projects Review designs and identify critical architectural and technical considerations Support integration of lighting, A/V, media, networking, and interactive systems Organize and maintain architectural files, standards, and project documentation Participate in project meetings and collaborate with architects, engineers, and vendors Research emerging systems, technologies, and production methods What We’re Looking For Experience with architectural documentation and technical coordination Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp Familiarity with Revit, Rhino, Blender, SolidWorks, or similar platforms Understanding of architectural file standards and interoperability Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Interest in immersive environments, experiential design, and emerging technologies What Sets This Role Apart Work on immersive museum exhibits and experiential environments Collaborate with creatives, fabricators, and technologists under one roof Blend architecture, storytelling, and interactive systems Contribute to highly customized, one-of-a-kind projects Why Solid Light We are a design-build firm rooted in storytelling, craftsmanship, and collaboration.
