    "description": "<h2>Position Summary</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p>Ready to take your NDT career to the next level?</p>\n<p>Acuren is seeking a <strong>Lead Phased Array Technician</strong> to join our team in <strong>Burnaby, BC.</strong> This is your opportunity to work in a fast-paced industrial environment where your expertise is valued, your growth is supported, and no two days look the same.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Candidates must be local to the area</li>\n <li>Competitive pay: $52.81 – $57.36/hour (based on certifications)</li>\n <li>Opportunities for advancement and continuous learning</li>\n <li>A dynamic team focused on safety, quality, and innovation</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3><strong>Inspection & Technical Execution:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform advanced ultrasonic (PAUT) inspections on welds, materials, and components</li>\n <li>Set up, configure, and calibrate equipment, including probe angles and scan parameters</li>\n <li>Interpret A-scan, B-scan, and S-scan data to evaluate structural integrity</li>\n <li>Apply additional NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT) as required</li>\n <li>Identify discontinuities, corrosion, and non-conformances with precision</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Analysis, Reporting & Compliance:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Document and evaluate inspection results (defect type, size, location, severity)</li>\n <li>Prepare detailed, code-compliant reports (ASME, API, and client specs)</li>\n <li>Develop and follow scanning procedures aligned with industry standards</li>\n <li>Ensure all work meets regulatory, client, and internal quality requirements</li>\n <li>Support QA/QC initiatives and uphold high inspection standards</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Collaboration, Equipment & Safety:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Work closely with engineers, inspectors, and project teams</li>\n <li>Provide technical insights to support asset integrity and reliability</li>\n <li>Maintain and verify PAUT equipment for optimal performance</li>\n <li>Conduct routine software/hardware checks per manufacturer guidelines</li>\n <li>Champion a strong safety culture and follow all site and corporate protocols</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements</h2>\n<h3><strong>Certifications & Technical Requirements:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid PAUT Certification (CGSB, CSWIP, or PCN)</li>\n <li>CGSB Level 2 UT certification</li>\n <li>Additional CGSB certifications are an asset</li>\n <li>IRATA training (or willingness to obtain) is considered an asset</li>\n</ul>\n<h3><strong>Skills & Attributes:</strong></h3>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Strong work ethic and commitment to quality</li>\n   <li>Proven ability to build positive client relationships</li>\n   <li>Exceptional safety awareness</li>\n   <li>Strong problem-solving and time management skills</li>\n   <li>Self-motivated with the ability to perform at a high technical level</li>\n   <li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Benefits</h2>\n<p>The strength of Acuren lies in its outstanding people.
