You are a key contributor to operational reliability, compliance, and team mentorship.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge who can work independently and lead projects.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Advanced Maintenance &amp; Systems Oversight</li><li>Independently troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and spa systems</li><li>Perform advanced diagnostics and system repairs</li><li>Lead preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance documentation is maintained</li><li>Oversee daily hot tub chemical testing and regulatory compliance (where applicable)</li></ul><p>Operational Leadership</p><ul><li>Monitor and prioritize maintenance requests</li><li>Delegate tasks to Engineer I team members as appropriate</li><li>Assist with training and skill development of junior engineers</li><li>Support emergency response and after-hours repairs</li></ul><p>Vendor &amp; Compliance Management</p><ul><li>Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors and service contractors</li><li>Ensure compliance with town codes, fire safety regulations, and brand standards</li><li>Assist with inventory management and supply ordering</li><li>Support budgeting and cost control efforts</li></ul><p>Property Standards</p><ul><li>Conduct facility inspections and proactively address concerns</li><li>Maintain appearance standards across all public and back-of-house areas</li><li>Support capital improvement projects as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Who You are</strong></p><ul><li>4-7+ years hotel, resort, or commercial maintenance experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems</li><li>Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex issues</li><li>Experience working with vendors and contractors</li><li>Strong documentation and computer skills</li><li>Ability to mentor and guide others</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements</p><ul><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally</li><li>Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and kneeling throughout shift</li><li>Able to respond quickly to emergencies and reach all areas of the hotel</li><li>Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays</li></ul><p><strong>About Gravity Haus</strong></p><p>Gravity Haus is a community-driven adventure lifestyle brand with hotels, restaurants, and experiences that empower a modern way of travel.
