    "description": "<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-weight: bold\">Summer Program Staff</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position reports directly to the Program Manager, Ben Strouse. This is a seasonal position available during the summer camp season. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, program staff organize and assist in summer camp activities. Every summer program staff member will be trained in all areas.</p>\n<p><br>Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:<br>● Lifeguard<br>● Archery Instructor<br>● Team Challenge Facilitator<br>● Sunday Welcome Team<br>● Paint Ball Supervision<br>● Pottery Instructor<br>● Laser Tag Instructor<br>● Mentoring Campers with Special Needs<br>● Housecleaning<br>● Program Scheduling<br>● Rock Wall/High Ropes Facilitator<br>● Water Front Activities<br>● Sling Shot Range Instructor<br>● Office Work<br>● Participate in Skits, Decorating, Etc.<br>● Check-In Campers and Volunteers</p>\n<p><br>Additionally, Program Staff may train summer volunteers to lead the following activities: canoeing, nature hikes, crafts, tetherball, 4 &amp; 9 square, carpet ball, pottery, hover-ball, special field games, etc.<br>Qualifications</p>\n<p><br>Must be 18 years old or have graduated high school. Lifeguards are required to train and certify for First Aid, CPR and Life Savings. This certification must be completed by June 5. Round Lake will reimburse lifeguards for the cost of the training upon receipt of lifeguard certification certificate.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Other Requirements</span><br>● Commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and willingness to mature and grow as a Christian<br>● Round Lake Christian Camp is owned and operated by the Independent Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. The Camp prefers that applicants have roots to this Brotherhood.<br>● Capable of taking and following instructions: responding well to leadership.<br>● Good self-concept reflected in appearance, behavior and relationships with others.<br>● Use of alcoholic beverages, tobacco and non-prescription drugs is prohibited for all summer staff including their time off.<br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Schedule</span><br>Program Staff training is scheduled for May 28-30 and June 2-6, ending late Friday on June 6. Standard work weeks runs Sunday mid afternoon through Friday once program duties and cleaning duties have been completed, typically late afternoon.
