Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
The FP&A Associate will provide wholistic financial management of a portfolio of ~ 1GW of t hermal and Utility scale r enewable power plants in operations.
Wholistic financial management includes monthly performance review, monthly forecasting of EBITDA and earnings, annual budgeting, identifying financial risk and opportunities, working with asset management and operations leaders to optimize financial performance
Support lender and tax equity relationship and reporting
Core Competencies :
Candidates need excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, along with patience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a demanding team environment. They should also possess the following competencies :
Ability to coordinate different projects cross functional. Influence without direct authority
Good communicator, able to tell business driver stories from the numbers
Good analytical and time management skills
Bring s trong attention to detail and ability to zoom out and see the big picture
Proven ability to produce high quality work a nd meet deadlines
Has experience moving multiple projects forward and juggling competing priorities
Qualifications
5 + years’ experience in preparing and coordinating budgets, forecasts, and related reporting.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) including experience with financial reporting, forecasting and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
Ability to work effectively with accounting systems , SAP , BPC, Anaplan or similar
Experience building 3 statement financial models from scratch .
Has experience with financial oversight fo r renewable power plant s or thermal power plant . Coal power plant experience is a plus
Fluent in English (required); proficiency in Spanish is a plus
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting , or a relevant field

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $105,000 and $131,325/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off (including vacation, sick leave time, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
