Join us today!</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the Appliance Buyer with management of the home appliances category that includes. assortment planning, purchasing, supplier relationships, merchandise allocation, managing inventory levels, and business analytics.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing for product campaigns and promotions.</li>\n <li>Must stay informed about the most recent trends and advancements in technology.</li>\n <li>Demonstrate initiative, meticulous attention to detail, innovative troubleshooting skills and passion for electronics.</li>\n <li>Drop-Ship / On-line business coordination.</li>\n <li>Tracking and soliciting all earned sell-through allowances, Co-op allowances, Volume Rebates &c. in a timely manner to ensure the category maximizes profitability and ROI.</li>\n <li>Fostering and maintaining positive relations with all Departments, as well as all associates you have contact with in our Stores and Home Office, to ensure there is a healthy environment of mutual respect.</li>\n <li>Ensuring Product Knowledge is made available to all sales associates in a timely manner and that the vendor supports our E-learning requirements as well as offer in-store sales support to our sales associates.</li>\n <li>Other duties and responsibilities which may be directed by Leon’s to perform from time to time.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience and knowledge of the latest industry trends in home appliances.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting the procurement of home appliances including washers, dryers, fridges, ranges, dishwashers, small appliances, etc.</li>\n <li>Previous category management experience.</li>\n <li>Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-growth environment.</li>\n <li>Willingness to demonstrate values of accountability, service, integrity and innovation.</li>\n <li>Enthusiasm for organization, goal setting, problem-solving and project management.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting or exceeding prescribed deadlines.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: proficiency with Excel.</li>\n <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>In Office at our Toronto/North York Home Office</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>We offer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive Employee Benefit Package after 3 months</li>\n <li>Bonus</li>\n <li>Employee Discounts & Partner Discount Programs</li>\n <li>The chance to be part of a financially stable, well-respected, truly Canadian company with opportunities for growth from coast to coast</li>\n <li>Continuous, quality education and training on our products and sales techniques</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<p>$40,000/yr to $50,000/yr plus (income may vary based on volume and location)</p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use: Leon’s may use AI tools to support the recruitment and selection process (e.g., screening resumes, scheduling interviews).
