With us, anticipate engaging and challenging projects that deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies helping power more than 38 million North American homes.</p>\n<h2>What You’ll Do Day-To-Day</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs a variety of more complex non-standard engineering and new-to-you assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems, and resolution of quality events.  </li>\n <li>Performs independent review of department work products, risk assessments, Apparent Cause Analyses, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis etc.  </li>\n <li>Proposes solutions and work scope to Supervisor, works autonomously on most assignments and solutions. </li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with government regulations, organization, industry and customer engineering standards.  </li>\n <li>Independently evaluates, selects and applies a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making more complex adaptations and modifications for tasks not previously performed.   </li>\n <li>Develops new or adapted products, methods, systems or models to provide added value solutions to customers.   </li>\n <li>Understands impact of work on other organizations internally and externally.  </li>\n <li>Works on special projects, as directed.   </li>\n <li>Provides suggestions for improving processes and implementing process improvements.   </li>\n <li>Actively participates in technical communications with internal customers.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering\n  <ul>\n   <li>Dependent on the position, degrees in Physics, Engineering Technology and Engineering Science may also be accepted.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of related experience.</li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.  </li>\n <li>Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data. </li>\n <li>Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment. </li>\n <li>Advanced problem identification and problem resolution skills.  </li>\n <li>Displays leadership characteristics.   </li>\n <li>Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.  </li>\n <li>Advanced level of specific software tools (FPGA/VHDL ) and programming skills.</li>\n <li>Experience in control system design, including both analog and digital controls.</li>\n <li>Experienced in troubleshooting hardware issues from system level to board level to component level.</li>\n <li>Motion control experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Total Rewards Package</h2>\n<p><strong>Total Rewards Package          </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Salary:</strong> $97,000 - $131,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
