          "text": "<p><strong>AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) for their Brooklyn Adult Day Services program.&#xa0;The BIS provides behavior support services, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment services as a member of departmental or inter-departmental interdisciplinary teams.</strong></p><p><strong><em><u>Compensation Package</u></em>: $62,000 per year....plus this position&#xa0;comes with a generous, low cost and comprehensive health Benefit package. See Benefit information below.</strong></p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul><li>After completion of Functional Assessment, develops individualized behavior support plans and staff intervention plans following required format for content and quality.</li><li>Implements and monitors effective behavioral data tracking systems.</li><li>Completes additional behavior health related plans and documents as needed.</li><li>Provides training to staff on behavior treatment plans, and on topics/plans related to behavioral health.</li><li>Completes assessment and Psychological Evaluations as needed.</li><li>Engages individuals in individual and/or group treatment as needed.&#xa0;</li><li>Coordinates psychological care and behavioral programs with families, medical providers, residential settings or other relevant stakeholders in the individual’s service provision.&#xa0;</li><li>Provides crisis intervention, as well as instructs staff in appropriate techniques for addressing challenging behaviors.</li><li>Attends interdisciplinary team meetings, as appropriate, providing input particularly on individuals with identified or emerging behavioral challenges.</li><li>Accurately and timely maintains appropriate service records for individuals supported to ensure quality intervention and regulatory compliance.</li></ul><ul><li>Performs all duties necessary to ensure compliance with relevant regulations governing service provision, including record keeping.</li><li>Conducts other related tasks as needed or required.</li></ul>",
