    "description": "<p>Catalytic IT is looking for an ICT consultant (technical).</p>\n<p>We need more ICT consultants because we’re growing. We grow, because we’re good at what we do, and we have an amazing bunch of customers who keep us busy and tell their friends.</p>\n<p>We’ve also got a great team. We know everyone tells you their culture is great, and they’ve got great people… We mean it. Imagine working with people who have the perfect reaction GIF and who chose Axe throwing as a team building event. Now imagine those same people are technically great, highly certified, and genuinely nice people to boot.</p>\n<p>We’re looking for personable IT people - no back room people here. Can you explain technical concepts to non-technical people? Can you hold a conversation with someone you’ve just met for the first time. Do you have drive and determination, and are you 100% committed to great customer experience?   Do you share a passion for good coffee?  Then you may well be who we’re looking for.</p>\n<p>To get started, here's some things that will help you stand out:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous MSP experience (particularly education experience)</li>\n<li>Strong technical capability (broad is good, but you have an area you love)</li>\n<li>You love sharing your knowledge</li>\n<li>Certs are great, or show us you know your stuff!</li>\n<li>Did we mention strong technical capability?<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p>We’ve Great Place to Work certified and have a strong focus on our organisational culture. A few of the initiatives that we’ve got in place at Catalytic IT, include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>20% time - we aim to ensure our team are not regularly booked for more than 80% of their time, leaving the other 20% of their time free to promote professional and personal development, passion projects, and administrative catch-up</li>\n<li>Heavy investment in training - individualised training plans, allocation of time for training, regularly paying for training &amp; conferences, etc. Training is our second largest operating expense, after wages and superannuation.</li>\n<li>Day off a month - we ensure all staff have access to a long weekend every month - because they’re great!</li>\n<li>High class toolset - MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone, any tools they need or want to make their jobs easier</li>\n<li>Monthly technical training night - we get the team back in house at least once a month to cover off a technical topic in more detail, with food &amp; drinks provided</li>\n<li>Minimise overtime - the majority of our team do not work overtime; we try to keep it family friendly!</li>\n<li>Staff discount - staff can purchase at cost price anything they need</li>\n<li>Team building events which run multiple times per annum<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p>We form partnerships with our customers and are trusted, strategic advisors rather than transactional partners.
