Our ideal candidate will love patients of all ages, have deep knowledge of relevant health &amp; safety rules, and have a good eye for oral diseases &amp; anomalies.</p>\n\n<p>We are aware as a hygienist you have a great deal of opportunities available to you. We strive to create amazing workspaces; with the tools you need to make you enjoy doing your job and compensating you appropriately for a job well done! If you have a steady hand, a big heart and a great bedside manner, we&rsquo;d like to meet you.</p>\n\n<p>Open Dental experience is preferred.</p>\n\n<p>RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):</p>\n\n<p>Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination<br />\nSterilize dental instruments properly<br />\nConduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history<br />\nIdentify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis<br />\nClean and help protect patients&rsquo; teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)<br />\nEducate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)<br />\nGive instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures<br />\nTake X-rays or dental impressions<br />\nMaintain documentation and records on each patient<br />\nMonitor supplies<br />\nSKILLS:</p>\n\n<p>Proven experience as Dental Hygienist<br />\nIn-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)<br />\nExperience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment<br />\nOutstanding communication skills<br />\nA patient and friendly personality<br />\nAttention to detail<br />\nValid TX hygienist license<br />\nWe look forward to hearing from you!</p>\n\n<p>Job Type: Full-time</p>\n\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n\n<p><br />\n401(k)<br />\n401(k) matching<br />\nFlexible schedule<br />\nHealth insurance<br />\nLife insurance<br />\nPaid time off<br />\nVision insurance<br />\nSchedule:</p>\n\n<p><br />\n8 hour shift<br />\nExperience:</p>\n\n<p><br />\nDental Hygiene: 1 year (Preferred)<br />\nLicense/Certification:</p>\n\n<p><br />\nRegistered Dental Hygienist License (Required)<br />\nAbility to Relocate:</p>\n\n<p><br />\nGalveston, TX 77550: Relocate before starting work (Required)<br />\nWork Location: In person</p>\n",
