Description

Gemini is looking for a 2nd Shift Anodizing Technician to join the team at our location in Decorah, IA! This position is responsible for learning the anodizing and finishing processes. Come be a part of a positive, people-first culture that is focused on leveraging each team members’ strengths to help bring our customers’ unique signage products to life. Wage Range: $18.49 - $24.47 per hour base rate, plus a 10% shift differential Location: Decorah, IA Type: Full Time, On-site Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3:00pm - 1:30am (overtime is scheduled as needed and hour subject to change) A day in the life of a Anodizing Technician at Gemini is: Inspect PPE & ensure that all safety protocols are in place. Test chemical concentrations, PH, Levels, and temperatures in anodizing tanks. Record readings and make necessary adjustments. Prepare materials/product for anodizing by racking products according to priority and finishes. Verify quality by checking colors. Maintain equipment including racks, tanks, filters, and workstation. Review production totals and complete reports (hour boards, logs, etc. Preferred Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent experience High Attention to detail Adaptability to cross-train Manufacturing experience This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
