          "text": "<p>Tradewin is looking for an initiative-taking person who enjoys a fast-paced, professional and dynamic work environment to fill a key role in our US Export Trade Advisory Services Department. We are looking for someone with a natural curiosity and a passion for exploring emerging technologies across different disciplines. We value candidates who are enthusiastic about learning about technology and science in multiple domains.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>This is an office position located in Romulus, MI and will initially require a standard 8 AM – 5 PM schedule, with the opportunity to change to a later 11 am to 8 PM west coast coverage schedule.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>An Export Consultant can perform a variety of functions within our group, including:</p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Perform ECCN classification and license determination services</li><li>Make Commodity Jurisdiction determinations</li><li>Draft Commodity Classification Requests (CCRs) and License Applications in SNAP-R on behalf of client</li><li>Perform USML Classification and DOS License determination services</li><li>Perform US Export Compliance Risk Assessments at client facility</li><li>Draft Policy and Procedure Manuals</li><li>Perform Restricted Party Screening</li><li>Perform EEI File Audits</li><li>Perform analysis of client’s AES Data for preparation of “Trade Account Profile” Reports</li><li>Facilitate training and/or seminars both internally and externally as a subject matter expert.</li><li>Prepare statements/opinion memos on a variety of export compliance topics as requested by the client</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>General:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Prepare proposals addressing Export Compliance and related topics</li><li>Participate in sales/retention calls addressing Export Compliance and related topics</li><li>Provide timely and accurate monthly billing summary to Tradewin Admin</li><li>Maintain complete and accurate records on client projects</li><li>Actively review regulatory updates in the areas of Export Compliance</li><li>Participate in improving and documenting internal processes</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement of existing products, as well as development of new products</li><li>Contribute as both a trainer and trainee in Tradewin’s cross-training initiatives</li><li>Communicate professionally with both internal and external customers in written and verbal form</li></ul>",
