    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Purpose:</strong>&nbsp;Our Floral Designer will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the store.&nbsp;The Floral Designer is a floral products expert who maintains and operates the produce floral department including designing, cutting and arranging live, dried or artificial flowers, gift baskets and foliage according to department standards.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>A Floral Designer is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.</p>\n<p><i>A Floral Designer’s responsibilities include:</i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Trimming material and arranging bouquets, wreaths and other items using trimmers, shapers, wire, pins, floral tape, foam and other materials.</li>\n <li>Pricing and displaying floral products in sales cases.</li>\n <li>Actively selling merchandise.</li>\n <li>Informing customers about the care, maintenance and handling of various flowers, foliage, indoor plants and other items.</li>\n <li>Advising customers of appropriate merchandise selections, conferring with customers regarding type of arrangement or plant desired.</li>\n <li>Filling customer orders correctly and filing the names of customers and their preferences to facilitate future sales transactions.</li>\n <li>Conferring with customers regarding price and type of arrangement desired and the date, time and place of delivery.</li>\n <li>Planning arrangements according to client's requirements, utilizing knowledge of design and properties of materials, and selecting appropriate standard design patterns.</li>\n <li>Following approved procedures for receiving, code dating, storing, price marking and restocking products to ensure quality, accuracy and product rotation.</li>\n <li>Assisting in checking and verifying the produce department's products.</li>\n <li>Taking received and prepared products to refrigerated storage, shelf and display areas.</li>\n <li>All other related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:</strong></p>\n<p>Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Perks &amp; Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation, paid weekly</li>\n <li>Retirement Benefits</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance for yourself and eligible dependents</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement for qualified courses</li>\n <li>Scholarship opportunities for continued education</li>\n <li>Store discount programs (10% off household groceries)</li>\n <li>Fun work environment where you have the opportunity to nourish your community.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Must be 18 years of age.
