    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>If you reside in California, please see our California Applicant Privacy Policy for more information about our data handling practices and your data rights.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>MV Transportation is seeking an <strong>Electronics Technician</strong> who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems: Drive Cam, SEON video recorders, two-way radios, Trapeze MDT (AVL) system, Mobile Eye Collision Avoidance, tablets, and on-board wirelessand equipment ensuring they function efficiently and safely. Company paid training, general ability and experience with Electronics and computers needed for vehicles. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completes scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance / p.m.’s on all electronic systems, subassemblies and control devices. </li>\n <li>Inspects, diagnoses, removes and repairs electronic systems, equipment and devices.</li>\n <li>Determines the source of trouble. Diagnose malfunctions in electornic systems and equipment, performing tests and repairs as necessary.</li>\n <li>Repairs or replaces defective parts or makes changes as instructed. </li>\n <li>Uses testing equipment (meters, oscilloscopes, test bench and mock-up). </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Executes field repairs on road failures as needed. </li>\n <li>Work closely and collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to develop and improve electronic systems and components.</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed logs of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.</li>\n <li>Train and educate colleagues on the proper handlind and maintenance of electronic equipment and assist in training new technicians.</li>\n <li>Completes other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Education: An associates degree in Electronics Technology or a related field is typically preferred. Certification from recognized institutions can enhance job prospects.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams, using various hand and power tools, and understanding electronics systems and components.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of electronics to perform inspections, diagnosis, removal and repair of equipment and systems. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade. </li>\n <li>Must have own hand tools; major items supplied. </li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.</li>\n <li>Ability to follow complex technical manuals and ensure precision in repairs and installations.</li>\n <li>Valid state Driver's license. </li>\n <li>Ability to pass and maintain a CDL Class B license.</li>\n <li>Ability to pass a DOT physical.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>During the course of employment, employees may receive and have access to confidential information.
